Getting Ready for the Fall Art Show!

Once again, PebbleCreek artists rare getting for the premier show of the year, the Fall Art Show and sale on November 8. The show is always the highlight of the season, so mark your calendars and watch your email for notices about when to reserve your admission to the show and to purchase raffle tickets for the six beautiful baskets, each valued at at least $300.

BJ Kennedy

Betty Jean Kennedy is one of the Artists of the Year whose work is on display at the Creative Arts Center. Her paintings of flowers on black backgrounds are noted for their intricate portrayal of the delicate features of the subject. 

Artists of the Year Featured
at the Creative Arts Center

The most prestigious award presented by the PebbleCreek Art Club is the “Artist of the Year,” chosen each fall by previous winners of this award. They consider the artists’ body of work, whether they exhibit creative growth and consistent development of their skills. In addition, the winner must be an active member of the Art Club, sharing their knowledge with other artists and contributing to the success of the club.

This summer the Art Club is proud to exhibit the work of these accomplished artists in the windows of the Creative Arts Center and at each clubhouse. While some previous winners no longer live in PebbleCreek, the work of the following winners will be on display:

Loretta Pruett is one of the Artists of the Year whose work is on display at the Creative Arts Center. Her paintings are distinguished by vivid colors and the African American heritage. 


Congratulations to Donna Mund-Gustafson who was accepted into the prestigious Colored Pencil Society International Exhibition!
