About this event
Jerome is a once-bustling Wild West mining town in the Verde Valley highlands. When you arrive at its perch, you’ll feel like you’re clinging to a cliff and peering out over a kingdom of green scrub, cacti, and pines. Jerome was a boomtown turned ghost town. It was restored to life in the 1960s and is now a haven for artists.
When we arrive, everyone will get an easy-read map of Jerome. We will be free to wander the town and pick our spots for drawing/painting. We can move around and draw/paint as a group or you can split off if you find another location that you prefer! We will have four hours in town and you can draw/paint the whole time (bring a sack lunch!) or stop in the middle to have lunch in one of the restaurants in town.
Please sign up. Please consider volunteering to drive.
